“Thank you SO SO much for these gorgeous photos. You captured the day so perfectly, so many big smiles and laughter.”

Fenella & Henry’s Mayfair wedding at the Cavalry & Guards Club was incredible, full of love laughter and tears (of joy).
Fenella, her closest friends and mum spent the morning getting ready in a lovely, spacious flat near Victoria. I could tell straight away that it was going to be a fun day, with the girls laughing and joking around the whole time.
Before the girls had finished getting ready I popped off to catch up with Henry & the guys who gone to a nearby pub to have a few beers and a bit of lunch before the ceremony. The mood there was much the same as with Fenella & the girls. I don’t think I saw Henry stop smiling the whole time I was there, so excited for the big day that had been a long time in the making, having met when they were teenagers at school. A beautiful and somewhat unique story these days. Though, if you saw them together it is clear to see why together so long and that they truly make the perfect couple.
Their ceremony was held at St. Columba’s Church of Scotland. Fenella comes from Scottish lineage so it felt only appropriate that they would tie the knot there.
Whilst Henry waited patiently and slightly nervously with excitement at the end of the aisle, Fenella arrived with her dad in a beautiful, classic Bentley to the sound of bagpipes playing by one of their closest friend’s. Another special touch was that a family friend who is a Vicar actually conducted the ceremony.
Following on from the ceremony we all made our way to their reception at the Mayfair wedding venue – The Cavalry & Guards Club. And yes there was another connection to the reception venue too, as Fenella’s dad actually served in the Cavalry and is a member of the club. All of these connections really helped make it so unique to them and such a memorable day.
Situated in central London, by Hyde Park & Green Park, The Cavalry & Guards Club really was a special place for a grand wedding reception, with a large banquet hall fit for royalty.
Having gotten to know Fenella & Henry a bit I knew that they wanted a big party and it didn’t disappoint. They both got it started with an energetic first dance, followed by a confetti cannon. The party was epic and the perfect way to end what was such an incredible day.
