DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Natural, Relaxed, Emotive
It‘s not very often that you get to have all of the people who mean the most to you in one place at the same time. That’s part of what makes weddings so magical and special.
The relationships and the connections you have to each other is what I love to capture. Telling your story, showing the feelings and emotions of your wedding day as it happened, not choreographed. Because that’s how you want to remember it. Relaxed and natural images that will not only remind you of the moments you shared but will take you back in time to how it felt to be there.
Whilst for the majority of the day I will shoot your wedding in a documentary style, I also include relaxed portraits (if you want them), details and group photos as part of my coverage. You want to be able to spend more time with your friends and family on the day so I tend to suggest limiting the group photos to around 8-10. That way you won’t be away from the party for too long.
Before You Book
Before you decide to book, why don’t we meet for a coffee or a beer and have a chat about your exciting plans in person? Or if this isn’t possible then Skype is a good alternative. Your wedding photographer is going to be with you for the whole day so it’s super important that you get on and feel comfortable with them.
Once you’ve booked I will always be available to discuss your ideas and plans or offer advice (even if it’s not photography related). I’ve been to a lot of weddings and I’m always happy to help.
Before The Wedding
Before the wedding day, we’ll take the time to discuss your likes, dislikes and expectations because what’s important to you is important to me. Doing so will also give us the opportunity to get to know each other and help you feel more relaxed about being in front of the camera on your big day.
You will receive your photos within 6-8 weeks of the wedding depending on the time of the year. You’ll not only receive a USB with 500+ images but also a highlight slideshow to music and a private online gallery where your guests can view all the photos from the day.
Albums are the best way to enjoy your photos and be able to look back and relive your wedding over and over in the years to come. Not only that but they will also serve as a family heirloom to pass down to the future generations.
I offer two different types of albums, both of the highest quality, handmade in Italy by Graphi Studio.
Most couples decide to have an engagement shoot before their wedding. Not only are they a great opportunity to get some relaxed shots of you and your partner hanging out, but they’re also a really nice way for us to get to know each other and it will help you to feel more relaxed and comfortable being in front of the camera on your big day.
If you’re looking for relaxed, natural wedding photography and think that I would be a good fit I’d love to hear from you and about how you plan to celebrate your big day.
