New Forest Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m a New Forest Wedding Photographer based just along the coast in Brighton, I cover all of Hampshire and the South of England.

The New Forest is one of the most beautiful, picturesque and unique parts of the UK. It’s certainly one of my favourite places to visit and offers an incredible backdrop for your wedding day. Its convenient location offers easy access from the nearby cities such as Portsmouth & Southampton and even further afield such as Bath and London. If you’re looking for a truly special countryside getaway for your wedding celebrations then The New Forest could be the place for you.

A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Matt. I was fortunate enough to have grown up in the Caribbean and now live Brighton with my wife, Lara and and our young daughter, India.

When I’m not shooting weddings, I love travelling, snowboarding, seeing my favourite artists playing live and scouting out the latest restaurants and quirky pop ups that Brighton has to offer.

My style of wedding photography is best described as relaxed and natural, capturing the moments throughout the day as they happened. There won’t be any awkward posing and I won’t have you away from your guests and the party for ages taking photos. The only thing that you need to concentrate on is having the best day of your life and I’ll be there to capture it all.

Somerley House is an incredibly unique luxury-wedding venue situated on the edge of the New Forest. The reason that I say it is so unique is that there aren’t many venues where you have such a diverse selection of areas and also styles to choose from at the same venue. At Somerley House you have:

Somerley House

An imposing but beautiful old manor house that’s’ steeped in history and is perfect if you’re looking for a more traditional, stylish luxury setting. Surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens it’s lovely setting for your big day.

The Walled Garden

A beautiful space and blank canvas for you to get creative and use as you wish. There’s plenty of space to create a quintessentially English country garden wedding with a marquee.

Somerley Woodland Wedding

Last but not least and my particular favourite location on the property is the Somerley woodland. If you’re after a more relaxed boho festival vibe then this could be for you. The Douglas Firs form a natural aisle leading up to the rustic woodland folly that is licensed for outdoor ceremonies. For your wedding breakfast and reception, they offer a range of tipi’s, marquees and yurts to create your own space depending on the feel you’re going for. It’s a very special and unique place to celebrate your big day.
