Pangdean Barn is a venue that I have shot a lot at over the years and is a venue that I’m very proud to say that I’m a preferred supplier at so it was great to be back there again to be Lucy & James’ Pangdean Barn wedding photographer.
“These are awesome, thank you so much!”
It’s always a real privilege to be able to document two weddings from the same family. Having shot Lucy’s sister, Sarah’s wedding in Surrey the year before I was thrilled when Lucy got in touch to ask me to shoot hers too.
The morning started off in a similar way to Sarah’s with her and the girls getting ready at the family home before heading off to the wedding ceremony at Hurstpierpoint College in Sussex. The chapel was stunning and wouldn’t have been too far out of place in a Harry Potter movie. A truly special place to hold the ceremony and a really nice touch, as this was also the school that Lucy had attended to when she was younger.
Following the ceremony, we all set off to the wedding reception at the beautiful Pangdean Barn situated in the countryside just outside of Brighton. The sun was shining and the garden games were out which is always a lot of fun, especially watching people race around on the pedal go-karts after a few drinks.
As the sun went down the party got underway I knew that a big party was coming. Sarah and Oli had set the bar pretty high with her wedding the previous year and Lucy and James definitely matched it. They actually had the same band as well, the Bogus Brothers who made sure that the dance floor was packed and even had Lucy & James up on stage as well. Not sure if they knew that was coming or not but they took it all in their stride and nailed it!
I had an incredible time being their Pangdean Barn wedding photographer . Whether you’re planning a wedding here or elsewhere I’d love to hear about your plans. If you think that I could be a good fit or would like more info you can get in touch here via the link below.
